Carolyn Roy
Carolyn Roy, Principal and Designer was exposed to interior design at an early age. Her mother collected 19th century furniture and was always looking for that special one off piece in small out of the way shops. The unexpected is evident in her design projects today.
She holds a Bachelor of Science degree with a minor in Art History from Louisiana State University and studied at the New York School of Interior Design. Her career path began at Metropolis Magazine the architecture and design publication focusing on sustainability.
Carolyn’s passion for the visual arts led her into into establishing a fine art gallery featuring emerging American artists in New York’s Soho. Her relationships with her collectors evolved into designing their luxury residences and the significance of fine art in a home maintains a driving force in her design work.
After moving to Connecticut to raise her daughter she begin to work with builders and architects focusing on architectural finishes. She continued on that path when she moved to Palm Beach in 2002. Her refined and edited homes can be seen in Palm Beach, Jupiter Island and Naples Florida.
